About Scott McCauley
I have been a play-by-play guy since 2000 and joined the blogging ranks in 2009. My broadcasting career started in South Bend (’00-’01) and then it was on to Akron (’02) before landing at the crossroads of America. After a three-year stint at Indy’s ESPN Radio affiliate I returned to the baseball diamond as a radio broadcaster for the Indianapolis Indians. I added basketball and the title “Voice of the Jaguars” to my resume in 2009.
I am originally from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and moved to Fishers, Indiana in the mid 80’s. The Hoosier state is where I went to high school and college (Ball U), but my roots are all Ohio . Away from the mic you can find me playing bogey golf, on the Monon, or munching on chicken wings doused in hot sauce. I live in Broad Ripple with my wife Katie, our beautiful daughter Madeline (she’s in the picture) and our loyal mutt Kosar.
